摘要：An information managing device capable of systematically managing object dataof more than one kind using a single database, having an object managing unit for storingthe object data of more than one kind in general format, and a filter managing unit forstoring a filter which specifies a specific format for each kind of object data. When theobject data are registered, a control unit converts the object data the user has inputtedin its specific format into those in general format to store the converted object data intothe object managing unit. On the other hand, when the object data are retrieved, thecontrol unit converts the object data in general format into those in specific format usingthe filter of the same kind as the desired object data.
