Another example is Nelson Mandela, who fought against apartheid in South Africa and spent 27 years in prison for his beliefs. His perseverance and leadership helped bring about the end of apartheid and the establishment of democracy in South Africa.

Heroes can also be found in our everyday lives. For

example, a firefighter who risks their life to save others from a burning building, or a teacher who goes above and beyond to help their students succeed, can be considered heroes. These individuals may not receive the same level of recognition as famous figures, but their impact on the lives of those they help is just as significant.
