摘要：The airbag module has a retaining element(12) with at least one lockingsection(14) which in the locked position extends along the housing wall(16) and on itsside opposite to that facing the housing wall is locked by a retaining section(22) of thehousing(10). The locking section is held in the locked position by a protrusion(18) locatedon the housing wall. The retaining section of the housing and the housing wall define anintermediate space for the locking section ending in front of the protrusion. AnIndependent claim is included for a procedure for fixing the retaining element on theairbag housing in which the locking section of the retaining element is shifted by its freeend(20) in the direction of the protrusion, pressed against the bevelled face(26) of theprotrusion, and deflected away from the housing wall until the locking section of theretaining element is engaged by the retaining section of the housing.
