摘要：A magnetic separator (1) for non-ferrous metal particles or pieces (3) comprisesa conveyor belt (2) onto which the said particles (3) are unloaded, this conveyor belt (2)being wound, partially, around an active cylindrical casing (5) having a horizontal axis ofrotation (8) and inside which is mounted, coaxially, a magnetic system (6). This magneticseparator is characterised in that it comprises means (17, 18) for limiting the partialwinding of the conveyor belt (2) about the active cylindrical casing (5) to a zone (20) whichis located in the two upper quadrants (20a, 20b) of the periphery of the latter.
