摘要：Methods, systems, and computer storage media for managing resourceprovider service quotas in a cloud-computing environment are provided. Embodiments ofthe present invention are directed to methods managing service quotas for resourceprovider services in a cloud-computing environment. Resource provider services mayinclude virtual machines, websites, text messages and storage. Embodiments of theinvention provide single, consistent and cohesive application programming interface tomanage quotas across various resource provider services, administrators, billingapplications and tenants. Options can be provided to administrators and tenants toadjust tenant plan subscriptions through adding additional resource provider services,creating subscriptions and deleting subscription. A quota management service usingapplication programming interfaces provides feedback to the administrators and tenantson quota violations or inconsistencies with tenants or tenant plans.
