Mark Twain And Huck Finn
Mark Twain, regarded as “the father of American literature”, is one of the greatest American writers. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is his most famous novel. This book is set in the USA in the mid-19th century. It tells the story of a teenage boy named Huck, who has run away from home, and his companion Jim, a black slave. They decide to travel down the Mississippi on a raft. As they make their way down the river, they have a number of exciting adventures. 1). 记叙文的写作，一般应考虑六个要素：时间、地点、人物、事件的起因、经过和结果。遇到以图表的形式提供的材料时，注意要点应齐全。写记叙文时，由于多是叙述过去发生的动作，所以，叙述中常用过去时态，当然有时也会出现一般现在时或其他时态，尤其是在直接引语里。写人、记事、描述地点或刻画场景，最常用的文体可能就是记叙文了。因而，平时遇到一些好句子，就应当多记。例如： Joan is a pretty gentle lady in her early twenties.

Born in America, Thomas Edison was a great scientist and inventor. He was once thought to be a boy who was not worth educating. In fact, he was a man full of imagination.
I admire Edison a lot because of his great contribution to the world. He had more than 1,000 inventions. In his life time, he was always eager to know how things worked, which helped him to earn the nickname “the Wizard of Melo Park”．He was also so diligent that he worked day and night.
