摘要：A sheath for handsaws of the kind having an elongated toothed blade and ahandle at one end includes an elongated body with an open groove along the majority ofthe length of the body to receive the tooth line of the saw. Near a free lower end, thebody carries a cover which releasably holds the free end of the saw blade. At theopposite upper end there is a clamp which releasably holds the handle portion of thesaw. This makes it possible to release the saw from the sheath by small, comfortableswinging motions.
