In recent years, people are developing an inseparable relationship withInternet. As is known to all, it is convenient for us to click the mouse whensurfing on line, either to entertain ourselves or to meet the work's needs.
On the one hand, no one denies that Internet is currently one of the mostuseful media in our daily life. As a college student, I get on line every day toe某change information through e-mails with my net friends. But on the other hand,a good many people admit that they are too much addicted to Internet to maintaina regular and wholesome lifestyle.
Thus, it is necessary for us to use Internet in a reasonable way andrestrain from overindulgence. After all,Internet is invented to enrich our life, and to improve the efficiency of our work rather than shackle us with achain.

The Internet has brought significant changes to our lives in recent years. However, there remains some disagreement as to whether the overall effect ofthis technology has been positive or negative. While there are certainly validarguments to the contrary, I personally believe that the benefits of theInternet far outweigh its drawbacks and these benefits are twofold.
First of all, it is an indisputable fact that the Internet hasrevolutionized the way we communicate. Despite the risk of social isolation-aproblem occasionally seen in people who spend too much time at their computerterminal rather than relating to people in the real world-most of us havebenefited greatly from e-mails and Internet chat programs like MSN Messenger. These incredibly useful and powerful tools of communication facilitate bothcontact with loved ones in faraway places and global trade.
Moreover, the Internet has placed the entire world (and all of theinformation in it) at our fingertips. In earlier times, conducting researchentailed long hours searching library shelves. Now, however, the sameinformation can be accessed at the click of a button. Admittedly, not all of theinformation available on the Internet is reliable or helpful-there is a vastamount of material online that some would

consider offensive or dangerous, ranging from pornography to instructions on how to make bombs. Nonetheless, Iwould contend that this free flow of information has generally been a verypositive development.
By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that the Internethas had a positive impact on modern life because of its influences oncommunication and the flow of information.
