冠词分不定冠词和定冠词.a、 an是不定冠词，the是定冠词.
（1）an, a是不定冠词，仅用在单数可数名词前面，暗示“一”的意义（它必须是个可数名词.它还必须是个单数名词.）.
（2）a用在以辅音（指辅音音素）开头的词前， an用在以元音（指元素音素）开头的词前（即它的音标的第一个音素是元音，而不是说它是以元音字母开头）.如： a university 一所大学 an hour 一个小时 an umbrella一把雨伞

（3）a+名词单数，暗示一个……，或者某一……，an普通用于元音字母开头的单词，感化和a一样，the+名词暗示特指，“这个”，既可以用于可数名词前，也能够用于不
成数名词前；既用在可数名词的单数方式前，也用在可数名词的复数方式前.
