Final Examination

Instructions:



The final examination is going to be held during week-9 and week-10 in the classrooms where you are teaching currently.

 Each student is going to make a 3-minute speech on one of the topics randomly picked at the time of examination.

All the topics will be given to students at the 8 week.

Topics for the final:

Topic-1

Share your views on whether one’s personality might influence his/her decision to get a certain job. Please further explain it with your own decision.

Topic-2

How has the technology changed business? Do you think it’s created more work or less?

Topic-3

How has your education prepared you for your career?

Topic-4

What is your plan for your future career? How are you going to carry it out?

Topic-5

Is there still prejudice against women concerning career development in recent years? If it does，cite some examples？If not, why?

Good responses are those in which the speech is fluid and clear, with good pronunciation, natural pacing, and natural-sounding intonation patterns. Good responses are those in which the questions are fully answered; the ideas are logically linked and coherently presented. The relationship between ideas and the progression from one idea to the next is clear and easy to follow. Good responses are those in which the speech can demonstrate the speaker’s correct and complete understanding of the topic. Good responses are those in which the speaker can use grammar and vocabulary effectively to convey his/her ideas. Raters will be looking to see how well both basic and more complex language structures and appropriate vocabulary are used. Overall Scoring: Sub-scores Attendance 10%
