本课是一篇阅读文章。主要目的是为了让学生读后了解Christmas 的有关知识。 ·重点：
研读课文，查询网络，全方面了解西方的圣诞节，激发学生对了解西方文化背景的兴趣。 ·难点：
会利用网络资源拓展课文内容，深入问题研究，独立思考，形成个体观点，能在一定时间内进行整理、组合，结合口头汇报完成学习成果，并能自主设计生成综合性学习专题。 解决措施：利用网络开展教学，以超媒体方式组织学习内容，整合多种学科知识，通过灵活的导航机制，创设一个开放的学习环境，在十分宽松的氛围中，学生根据自己的意愿选择学习顺序，自主地发现，通过合作交流互补的协作学习，解决本课的重难点。
（三） 、学习对象及其学习需要分析：
a) 本课的学习对象为小学四年级的学生，他们已经掌握了一定的读书方法、学习方法，对于课文内容的了解基本能独立进行。但是小学生的思维特点仍是以形象思维为主，教师上课要为学生提供数量充足的形象，尽可能利用网络资源，多媒体教学，充分调动学生的多种感官参与学习活动。除此之外，学生也需要有一定的电脑技术，会打字，会利用网络查找自己需要的资料。
b) 由于学生没有真正见识过西方的圣诞节，对圣诞节的了解较少，而课文介绍得又比较简单，无法满足学生的求知欲。因此，本课综合所有查找到的资料制成了专题网站，通过灵活的导航机制，为学生的学习提供优良的学习环境。 （四）、网络环境和资源
a) 提供一人一机的网络学习环境。
b) 提供《Christmas is Coming!》〈自制〉网站，通过相关联接登陆相关网站进行学习。

（2）、教师在出示课文的同时播放课文的朗读，学生根据自己刚才的学习在理解课文的基础上欣赏课文朗读。
4、学习反馈：
根据画面提示，让学生复述课文。
5、学生活动：小组讨论教师给每组一个关于圣诞节的讨论题，全组同学就该论题用自己的语言展开热烈讨论，每位同学发言次数不限，但至少发言一次并鼓励学生自己提出新的问题。
