摘要：Sputtering of a carbon cathode (20) is effected under regulated (45) voltageand current, which ensure proper adhesion of the sputtered carbon onto the substrate ofthe prosthesis while avoiding adverse effects on the substrate itself. The substrate isconstituted by low melting materials such as polyester resins or polytetrafluoroethyleneand may be flat, tubular or in the form of a yarn.
