Teacher: As we all know, time is very important and in English there is a famous saying “An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening.” So what do you do in the morning?

Student l:I read an English book. Student 2:I do morning exercise.

Student 1:I play football in the afternoon. Student 2:I do my homework in the evening.

通过看学法上的探究点睛让学生了解各种时刻的英语表达法。然后在小组内说出幻灯片上的时刻。 完成教材1a~1c的任务 Step 3 【操作案例】

1.认真观察la图片,完成1a。(1分钟)

Teacher:What time do you usually get up/go to school/get dressed/brush teeth/eat breakfast/take a shower…

2.让学生用英语说出la图片中的时间和活动,为听力训练作好铺垫,然后让学生认真听录音,将la图片中的时间与活动匹配起来。(1分钟)

3.听录音,完成1b。大声朗读并结对练习1b中的对话,然后让一组学生到讲台上展示。(3分钟) 4.仿照1b中的对话,先由老师询问一名学生的日常活动和时间(可选择一名口语表达能力较好的学生),然后让同学们根据自己的实际情况相互询问对方日常活动和时间,完成1c。(3分钟)

2.再听一遍录音,完成2b中的表格。(2分钟)

Teacher:From the recording,we know that Bob takes a shower at 5:00.He is the first to take a shower.Then what time do Mary,Jerry,Rick and Alicia take a shower?Please listen again and complete the table in 2b.

3.听力拓展练习。(由老师提问,让学生根据听力内容和图片信息进行回答)

Teacher:We know there’re five children in Rick’s family,but we can only see four of them.Where is the fifth child?

Student:He must be in the bathroom. Teacher:Then who’s in the bathroom? Student:Bob. Teacher:Why?

Student:Because he takes the shower first.

Then divide students into two groups.Ask and answer questions about Rick’s family.

4.让学生根据2a和2b中的对话内容,相互询问并谈论自己的日常作息时间和活动,完成2c。(4分钟)
