The Last Days of Pompeii (Excerpt)

一、教学目标

By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. understand the adaptation of the novel about Pompeii; 2. grasp the main idea of the adaptation;

3. know the destructive power of natural disasters; 4. appreciate the language style of the author.

Step 5 Have students write a summary of the excerpt.
