摘要：A coating composition comprising (A) 0.05 to 7% by mass of a fluoro group-containing silicon compound or a hydrolysate thereof, (B) 5 to 65% by mass of fineparticles of the oxide of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Si, Al,Sn, Sb, Ta, Ce, La, Fe, Zn, W, Zr, In and Ti, (C) 10 to 80% by mass of a specific siliconcompound or a partial hydrolysate thereof, and (D) 0.1 to 60% by mass of a compoundwhich can react with an epoxy group or a silanol group, wherein the amount of thecomponent (A) is based on the mass of the component (C), and the amounts of thecomponents (B), (C) and (D) are based on the total mass of the components (A), (B), (C)and (D). This composition provides to a plastic lens a hard coat layer which is free from adyeing speck even when it is dyed after it is stored for a long period of time, experiencesa small change in the color of a dye before and after storage, can be dyeable and hashigh hardness.
