　　Xuzhou is located in the northwest of Jiangsu Province, at the junction ofJiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces. Its geographical position is veryimportant. It is known as "the thoroughfare of five provinces" and "the placefor military strategists". It is the junction of the east coast and the centralregion, the Shanghai Economic Zone and the Bohai economic circle.
