1.Play “What’s wrong?” to review “snow” and “ice” and other vocabulary.

2.Play “Spell It” to review any vocabulary in this unit.

Step 3.Key concepts:

1.Introduce:      

a.Make the directions between weather adjectives the Ss know(rainy, sunny, windy), and the nouns (rain, wind ,sun). Draw four windows on the BB.Ask for volunteers to draw weather in the windows to match the sentences. 新课标第一网

2.Student book:

a.Play the audiotape as the Ss follow in their books.

3.Practice: Teach the “The season song” in No.2 of the student book.

 T: (Point to the picture of snowy weather).How’s the weather? It is snowy. This is snow. Snow, say it please.

 T: Good !(Point to the picture of sunny weather) How’s the weather, class?

 S: It is sunny.
