第三册适宜高中生学习，学习一些更深层次的语法知识和部分学术用语；

English is not only words and grammars,but also culture.Culture is far more important.You shouldn't be a man who knows a lot of English knowlege,but little English culture.And you can also comprehend the beauty and spirit of English when you're learning NCE3 4.
If you want to develop skills and speak fluent English,you'd better learn them.
(To tell you the truth, no one regards the "4级、6级" abroad,I think that exam is as stupid as a foolish game,it doesn't mean your English level is high enough.I'm just a grade 8 student)
Learn more is always better than nothing.
